The Horseless Region Carriage Club of America, Portland Region Group, is a non-profit corporation found in 1965 by and for automobile antiquarians and dedicated to the preservation of motor vehicles of ancient age and historic value. Prerequisite to membership is the possession of a 1932 or older vintage car, restored or in the process or restoration, and membership in the National Horseless Carriage Club. Applications for memberships can be obtained from the club's President or Treasurer. Dues for the Portland Region Group are $10 per calendar year (plus $5 for the ladies Auxiliary) which includes the Gas Leak publication.
Meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the forth Wednesday of each month with the exception when our annual dinner meeting is held at a local restaurant and December which is our Christmas Banquet. November is subject to change. The meetings are held at the Clackamas Meeting and Banquet Facility, 15815 SE 82nd Drive, Clackamas, OR which is on 82nd drive, a block north of Highway 212. It is in the same building as the Denny's restaurant.
The Gas Leak is published monthly and is distributed to members in good standing, subscribers and reciprocal editors of other publications, and to the Regional Groups Publications Director. Subscriptions are $15 per year.
The club is very active in touring with their vintage cars including their annual multi-day tours.
